The Galapagos Islands are one of the best places in the world to observe wildlife. Not only are reptiles and birds found in abundance, but many of the species found in the Galapagos are found nowhere else in the world. Its remote location and its historic lack of human habitation have made the Galapagos a treasure trove of species diversity.

It is no wonder that the Galapagos helped Darwin develop his ideas on evolution and natural selection. I visited the Galapagos in 2011 with G Adventures and I plan on returning at some point in the future to photograph more wildlife.
