Mile upon gorgeous mile of rolling valleys and alpine peaks serve as the backdrop in this land built for hikers and trekkers of all experience levels. And once you've had enough of the Great Outdoors, the fun continues inside grandiose Hapsburg palaces, charming mountain towns, and the sensory delights of downtown Vienna. Be careful though; after a few gulps of refreshing mountain air, you may not want to go home.
